Multi-Directional Expansion: When subjected to elevated temperatures, the V3J Firestop Expansible Sealant expands multi - directionally.
Eco-Friendly and Odorless: It is completely halogen-free, which is not only environmentally friendly but also reduces the release of toxic fumes in case of a fire. Additionally, it is odorless, making it suitable for use in areas where a pleasant environment is desire.
High Expansion Rate: With a high expansion rate, the V3J Firestop Expansible Sealant can rapidly fill penetrants in the openings and gaps left after combustion. This ability to quickly and thoroughly seal these potential fire paths is crucial for maintaining the integrity of fire - rated assemblies and preventing the spread of fire.
Areas of Application
Plastic Flammable Pipe Sealing: Ideal for use on plastic flammable pipes, including PVC, PE, PP, and ABS.
Power Cable Channel Firewall: Used to create a firewall in power cable channels. By sealing the openings and gaps in these channels.
Electrical Equipment Cabinet Opening Firestopping: Serves as an effective firestop for penetrations through electrical equipment cabinet openings. It seals the gaps around cables and conduits entering or leaving the cabinet, preventing fire from entering or exiting the cabinet and potentially causing damage to the sensitive electrical components inside.
Cable-Related Penetration Firestopping: Suitable for firestopping penetrations through cables, cable bundles, and cable tray openings and gaps.
